A beautiful statue stands near the Basilica of our beloved Pope John Paul II who after being elected Pope, made is first official visit outside of the Vatican to Mexico City and the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe where he declared “The Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe will be the center from which the gospel of Christ will illuminate the entire world by means of the miraculous image of His Mother.” |
